Dr. Daniel A. Eyink is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Medical Acupuncture. He has devoted many years of study to identifying the root cause of illness & pathways to healing. Dr. Dan is strongly committed to helping patients heal and maintain health using nutrition, herbs, homeopathy, & acupuncture, and by supporting the body’s nutritional needs with whole foods nutrition.

Dr. Dan completed his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Massachusetts in 1994; his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, Portland, Oregon. He worked as an Internist & Primary Care Physician in Newburyport from 1998 until 2010. He was trained in Medical Acupuncture at both Harvard University and UCLA, and is an Advanced Clinical Nutritionist in Nutrition Response Testing as well as a Certified Practitioner in the Morphogenic Field Technique. Additionally, he holds Advanced Certifications in Auricular & Laser Acupuncture. He has studied extensively the teachings of Dr. Royal Lee, the Father of Nutrition, and the work of Dr. Weston A. Price and Dr. Francis M. Pottenger. In 2009, together with his wife and business partner Jacqueline Carroll, he opened Dr. Dan’s Natural Healing Center and began providing simple, natural healthcare.

Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr. Dan achieved success early in his career as a renowned Executive Chef. He received Mobil Travel Guide’s Four-Star Chef Distinction Award for three consecutive years. So began his journey of ‘food as medicine’. He also spent time studying with classical French, Spanish, & Japanese chefs and worked as a pastry chef in the Napa Valley along the way. He was involved in the upstart of the American Cuisine style of cooking in the 1970s & 1980s.

Dr. Dan’s interests include cooking, sharing & enjoying outstanding food at home with family and friends, as well as traveling and spending time with his wife & their daughter Phoebe Li. His true passion is learning from the masters and utilizing that knowledge in any way he can to help others.
