Sara Thielsen, NTP– Nutrition Counselor & Patient Advocate
As Patient Advocate & Nutrition Counselor, Sara works hard to ensure patients receive all the necessary information and ongoing guidance they need to maintain or return to an optimal state of health. Sara teaches the Whole Foods Nutrition Program, Quick Start Nutrition Program, Dynamic Weight Loss, & GAPS Programs, offering patients the fundamentals of a whole foods traditional diet and how to incorporate the best possible nutrition into their everyday lives.
A graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Nutrition, Sara is passionate about expanding her knowledge of the most effective whole foods nutrition knowledge available today and bringing that knowledge to patients at Dr. Dan’s. She is certified as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner by the Nutritional Therapy Association. Additionally she is a Certified GAPS Practitioner. Sara’s background includes extensive experience in all aspects of small organic farming in the New England area. She enjoys cooking, visiting local farms, walking her dog Maisy, and traveling with her husband. Her favorite foods are beef stew & her own homemade sauerkraut!
