Beth Fossum – Nutrition Counselor & Patient Advocate
Beth joined the Dr. Dan’s team in November 2016 with an interest in guiding & empowering individuals along their own rewarding journey to health. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition from Keene State College and holds a Chef Diploma from the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts in New York City. It was there she began to understand the healing power of whole foods.
Her past experience includes a position as a Wellness Program Health Coach where she led clients toward their health goals using nutrition, physical activity, stress management, meditation and cognitive behavioral therapy. In addition she has worked on organic farms and farmers markets to further connect with local food.
Beth has a passion for assisting others through interpersonal communication, empathy and compassion. One of her most favorite hobbies is making homemade nut milk using a variety of seeds, nuts and spices. Her favorite food is coconut dates!
