Eat More BeetsIt All Starts With Nutrition

Everyone knows that the foundation of great health is great nutrition. We all try to do our best to eat well on a daily basis, but it isn’t always an easy thing to accomplish.

What you put in your body impacts everything about you.  It determines how you feel every day, your frame of mind, energy level, how well you ward off illness and even your outlook on life.

With so much at stake and so much information out there - often confusing and conflicting - it’s hard to know which way to turn to get it right.  And getting it right is crucial because your health and well being depend on it.

That’s exactly why we created a variety of Nutrition Programs at Dr. Dan’s to guide you through the nutrition maze, help you separate fact from fiction and put you on the right track toward exceptional health and wellness.

All our programs are designed to complement our Nutrition Response Therapy and Acupuncture Programs and are based on the work of Dr. Weston A. Price, a health researcher who brought to light the extraordinary health benefits of traditional vs. modern food diets.  To learn more about Weston A. Price Foundation and its nutrition principles click here.

You’ll learn the fundamentals of healthy nutrition in a lively, fun and interesting manner.  From your very first session, you will be able to make real improvements in your nutrition and be on your way to exceptional health.

Dr. Dan's Whole Foods Nutrition Program is a fantastic, eye-opening, easily digestible (no pun intended!), wealth of information. The instructor, Sara, has a wonderfully loving presence about her that makes you immediately feel safe, whether these concepts are new to you or already a regular part of your world.

What I particularly loved was the "why" behind choosing what to eat. Instead of just being given a list of what to eat and what not to eat, Sara, with her vast knowledge, explains why your body responds and handles whole foods much more easily than processed foods. Also, I left the four-week course with great product recommendations, tips and insight on really reading product labels and not falling for creative marketing, and some yummy recipes.

Favorite tidbit? Reading the ingredients list first is more crucial than reading the nutritional guidelines. Favorite recipe? Popcorn with coconut oil. Yum! I highly recommend this course!
